Our history
Founded in 2008, by Owner/Director Christine Atamian- Bairos, our beginning started off in just one dance room!
Since then Dancin Spirit has grown and developed into a school with a reputation for top-notch dance instruction, with students traveling from all over RI, CT and nearby Massachusetts. Our studio offers a wide variety of classes from ages 2 thru young adult. From combo classes for the little ones, to single studies for students 7 and over. We emphasize group based learning with the option of private lessons in order to focus on individual goals. With a schedule of 70+ classes a week, we surely have something for everyone!
Dancin Spirit is like having "2 dance studios in 1"! We have the traditional side that offers ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, modern & acrobatics, but our Hip Hop side of the school is just as big with classes in breakin', pop & lock, & freestyle.
We offer Boys Only classes too!
Our diverse staff of incredibly talented instructors, love to share their passion of dance to all the students. They are friendly, and nurturing. They promote high self-esteem and foster a creative, positive environment for each student to grow. They are role models to so many!
